Benny is our 2 year-old Cavapoo and the beloved pup of our office manager, Melanie. He’s quickly become the soul of our space. Affectionate, playful, and full of charm, Benny will welcome you with a wagging tail and maybe even his favorite toy. While he may not have an official therapy dog title, he’s everything you’d want in one—offering comfort, joy, and an occasional cuddle just when you need it most.

“Dogtor” Maggie is an 8-year-old Lab/Beagle mix who belongs to Dr. Raman Gopalakrishnan. She’s the ultimate mellow girl—you’ll usually find her lounging around like a pro napper. But don’t let her calm nature fool you… she has a mischievous side too! Maggie’s favorite hobby is “borrowing” Benny’s toys and chewing them into oblivion. She’s also a big fan of tummy rubs, snacks, and spending her days by Dad’s side.

Dr. Raman comes from Bombay, India. After completing Medical School & Psychiatry Residency at Grant Medical College, he moved to the US in 1999. He trained in Psychiatry at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and has a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from Jefferson. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry & Addiction Medicine.
He has worked at Penn Presbyterian Dual Diagnosis Unit. He started Riddle Psychiatry in 2012, where he continues to specialize in the management of Psychosis, Mood Disorders, Anxiety & Addiction. He and his family have lived in Delaware County for over 20 years. He loves teaching, traveling, music and is a die-hard Bruce fan.

Erin completed a Bachelors in Psychology from University of Central Florida and a Bachelors in Nursing from Ohio University. She has worked in a variety of settings as a RN including skilled nursing, acute care & critical care.
She completed her Masters degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from Wilkes University. She resides in South Jersey and can be found at the park with her family, taking barre classes, or reading a book from the library.

Yamah earned a Bachelor of science in Nursing at Holy Family University in 2016 in Pennsylvania.She worked in multiple settings including med-surg, telemetry, mental and behavioral health with adults, adolescents & older adults.
She received her Master degree at Wilkes University in 2023. She is a licensed and Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is kind, genuine and charming even as she “tells it like it is“

Cate received her Bachelors in Nursing from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN. As a nurse, she has experience in both Behavioral health and women's health. She is experienced in women’s mental health including and especially around pregnancy.
She completed her Masters program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing before working for Crozer Chester Psychiatry. In her free time, you can find her cooking, traveling, or exploring Philly where she lives with her husband and 2 children.

Jessica was born and raised in Media, PA. She completed an RN program from Delaware County Community College and a Bachelors in Science of Nursing from West Chester University. She worked in a variety of settings from acute care to correctional nursing. Her areas of interest include Trauma, Grief & Anxiety Disorders.
She completed her Masters degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from LaSalle University in 2025. In her spare time, she is creating new experiences with her sons Landen and Colton or playing aunt to her nephews. She is at her best on Halloween!!

Betsy Stratton has over 20 years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Individual and Family Studies from Penn State University and a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University.
She has extensive experience in the mental health field having worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She worked in the Social Rehabilitation Program and Outpatient clinic at Hall-Mercer Center of Pennsylvania Hospital before becoming the Director of Psychiatry at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. Betsy has consulted for hospitals nationwide on operations and delivering and measuring quality care.
Her practice focuses on individual and couples psychotherapy. She works to establish a safe and trusting environment and uses a variety of approaches, including psychodynamic and family-systems strategies, to help clients achieve their best possible outcomes.

Brigid earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School and her Bachelor’s degree from Villanova University. After a successful 15-year career in sales while raising three children, she returned to graduate school to pursue her passion for helping others. She has interned at a residential treatment facility specializing in substance use disorders.
Brigid values working with diverse populations and has witnessed firsthand the positive impact that compassionate, accessible mental health care can have on individuals and families.
A resident of the Wayne for over 20 years, Brigid has been actively involved in the community through various leadership roles. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, practicing yoga, meditation and playing tennis.

Melanie is the Practice Manager for Riddle Psychiatry. She personifies our core values of Compassion, Hard Work and Dedication to Service! She has touched untold lives and has been crucial to every aspect of our practice including finances, patient advocacy, credentialing and student affairs. Can’t find an answer at our practice, perhaps ask Mel!
An aspiring Nurse Practitioner and a die-hard Swifty, she lives in Delco with Tim, her Cavapoo Benny and her newborn angel Atlas!!

Desiree is our Office Manager at Riddle Psychiatry. Desiree helps ensure our practice runs smoothly by supporting both patients and staff with care, organization, and attention to detail. She radiates compassion and love!
She brings valuable experience from her previous role in behavioral health at Crozer Community Campus and is committed to creating a calm, welcoming, and well-organized experience for everyone. Outside of work, Desiree enjoys traveling, discovering new cultures and planning her next adventure.

Fran has been a crucial part of Riddle Psychiatry from the day it was established. Dedication and hard work run in her veins! Soft spoken yet direct, she wears many hats and has seen it all in our practice. She combines old world charm with a tireless spirit that can challenge any Gen. Z-er!
Fran, the drummer is married to keyboard player Jack for over 57 years and lives in Norristown.

We are pleased to introduce Alexa, who joined Riddle Psychiatry as our new Patient Advocate last year.
Alexa brings over a decade of experience in client services and clerical operations, with a strong background in the hospitality industry. She has brought color, cheer and genuine compassion to our practice and defines who we are at the Front Office!
Alexa enjoys cooking, exploring the West Chester restaurant scene with friends, and spending time at home with her cats.

Brendan is our Receptionist and Patient Advocate. He has been a committed member of our team for several years. Along with Alexa, he is very likely the first friendly and caring person you'll encounter when you call or arrive at our office.
His interests include fun facts, speculative fiction, history, social justice and martial arts. His knowledge base is so diverse, you can engage with him on anything from politics, current events, humor, music and religion to Lord of the Rings and Monty Python!
